God sent His Son Jesus to reconcile the whole world to Himself. We are to be that “Jesus with skin on” towards those still lost and dyeing in their sin. We are to live out our lives in this world as we invite others to be reconciled and then come alone side each other so that we can assist in the process of becoming a disciple (a follower of Jesus). We are part of the process however, it is ultimately the Holy Spirit that saves, counsels and disciples His people, making use more like His Son.
Luke 19:10 “for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
Mark 16:15 And then he told them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.
Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Act 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere--in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
